and the multinational health care company Abbott have established a European Training Network entitled Improving Quality of Care in Europe.
A European Training Network (ETN) is a consortium, funded by the EU programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), that sets up a joint research and training programme for researchers at doctoral level. The aim of the IQCE program is to improve the quality and performance of European health care systems. Each PhD thesis will focus on one of six dimensions of health care quality as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO): effectiveness; safety; efficiency; access; equitability; and acceptability.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 721402.
